Lisieux English School has a tradition of 32 years. It was Rev. Fr. Joseph Pallippadan who was the Vicar of Little Flower Church, Nadel, Vaikom, started the Lisieux English School in 1982 September with one teacher Mrs. Reethamma Jose, and 16 students.
In the beginning Lisieux was an unaided recognised English Medium School. It got recognition for LP in 1985; for UP in 1996 and for High School in 2004. The last batch of the S.S.L.C. passed out in 2009 March. There was a great demand from the parents and public for CBSE syllabus coaching. Hence, it was started, and Lisieux got affiliated to CBSE in 1997. The school reached its heights in the year 2000 when the management took decision to start Plus Two in CBSE syllabus. Lisieux has kept its excellence even when it was a state syllabus school by receiving special awards from Education Departments under the guidance of various Managers and the Principal Rev. Sr. Ancy SABS. Having fully shifted to CBSE syllabus, it has kept its quality level, in the academic performance and character formation of the students under the bold and vision filled leadership of Rev. Fr. Francis Arickal and Rev. Fr. Varghese Manavalan. The school celebrated its Pearl Jubilee in the year 2012. Now under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Benny Parecattil (Manager) and Mis. Shiny Thomas (Principal), the school is taking a leap in all the spheres.
